Charles passed away peacefully at the Providence Care Hospital in Kingston on Tuesday January 19th, 2021. Charles was the son of the late Joseph and Gwendolyn Ackerman. He will be remembered by his son Charles and his siblings; Barbara McFadden, Lois Hancock (deceased), James (Doreen) Ackerman and Martha (Carl) Ramsay.
The family invites you to attend a service of remembrance held on January 23rd, 2021 at the Kingston Pilgrim Holiness Church (2900 Princess Street) at 11am. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, anyone who wishes to attend can sit in their vehicles in the parking lot and listen to the service. As the church is directing the service (funeral home will not be in attendance), please follow the church’s directions.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Addiction and Mental Health of KFL&A would be kindly appreciated.
