Obituary of Brython Elwy JONES

JONES, Brython Elwy (Ret'd) R.C.N., CPO 2, CD 1 Proud veteran of WW II, 25 years of service to his country. Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital, surrounded by the love of family, on Saturday, June 18, 2016, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Betty Jeanette (nee Crowe) who predeceased him in 1993. Dear father of Bradwen, David (Connie), Mark (Karen), Griffith and Rob (Trina). Loving grandfather of David (Niki), Bruce (Christie) and the late Charlie, Trevor (Gina) and Ryan (Devon), Evan (Jolene) and Cody, as well as 10 great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston, on Friday, June 24 between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Funeral service in the Chapel on Saturday, June 25 at 10:30 am, with Rev. Heather McLurg-Murphy officiating. Cremation to follow at James Reid Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kingston General Hospital Foundation or The Salvation Army, in Mr. Jones' memory.
