Obituary of Iva KIRKWOOD

KIRKWOOD, Iva Mary Ann (nee Moore)- April 18, 1928 - June 14, 2016 - Iva passed away at the Helen Henderson Care Centre and went home to join her husband, Bill, on their 69th wedding anniversary. Iva, beloved wife of the late William, in her 89th year. Loving Mother of the late Douglas (Deborah), Wayne and Mark (Aleatha). She is the cherished Grandma of Andrew (Annie), Joy Yates (Stephen), Benjamin (Kerrie), Matthew, Elizabeth-Ann Radcliffe (Michael), Grace-Ann Fodchuk (Cory), Emily and Madison and Great Grandma of Jacob, Maxine, Isaac, Evan, Kylie, Adalaide, Dorian, Calvin, Aubrie, Georgia and Owen. Iva was predeceased by her brothers Alfred, John, Kurt, Jim and Norman and by her sisters Iona, Iola and Ina. She is survived by her brothers Morven, Ken and Ernie and by her sister Irene. A very special thank you is extended to the staff and volunteers at Helen Henderson Care Centre that showed such great compassion and care for Iva and her family. Funeral service will be held at the Evangel Pentecostal Church (261 Wilson Street, Kingston) on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 1:00pm. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday before the service from 11:00 am -12:45pm. Interment Ompah Cemetery.
