Those that knew Margaret would say that she was a kind and generous person who would always help those in need. She was a founding member of the Leukemia Research Fund charity in the United Kingdom. Margaret trained and worked as a nurse in England and on moving to Canada in 1964 continued nursing at Hotel Dieu Hospital here in Kingston. Margaret was a fierce advocate for those that she loved but in particular for her children.
We would like to extend our thanks to all the Personal Support Workers (Paramed) who had helped Margaret along the way. A special note to staff at Kingston General Hospital for the excellent level of care that was given to her. A big thank you to anyone else who may have touched Margaret’s life.
