Obituary of Helen STEWART

STEWART (nee Morgan), Helen Elizabeth - Born Dec. 7, 1932, Sherbrooke, Quebec. Peacefully, with son and daughter by her side, our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on May 28th at Kingston General Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Doug, her parents John Alec and Agnes Morgan (nee Haney) of Melbourne, Quebec, and her brother Johnny. Dearly missed by children Cathy, Pam (Dan) and Peter Turnbull, Janice Stewart (Claudio), and Sandra Nevers (Jeff), grandchildren Andrew, Kirsten, Christie, Keith, Shawn and Shannon, and seven great-grandchildren with two more on the way. Fondly remembered by sister Marjorie Page (Robert) and brother-in-law James Stewart (Terri) and all of her nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her good friends, many of them golfers and painters, and her co-volunteers at the Seniors Association. A Celebration of Life will be held at the JAMES REID RECEPTION CENTRE, please use rear doors (1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston) from 2 4 PM Monday June 6, 2016. A sharing of memories will take place at 2:30. A private graveside service will be held later for family. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice or to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (www.UKHF.ca ) would be most appreciated. The family thanks the nurses and staff of Davies 3 for the excellent care Mom received during her stay at KGH and to the volunteers for delivering emails.
