It is with heavy hearts the we announce the unexpected passing of Melburn Watson, a loving husband, father, grandpa, uncle and friend, on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Kingston General Hospital in his 86th year.  Melburn, beloved husband of 59 years to Shirley (nee Banks).  Loving father of Heather Dee Watson, the late Michael Melburn Watson and Philip Lanson Watson and his wife Sherin.  He will be forever missed by “Grandpa treasures”, grandchildren Ryan, Ashlee, Aaliyah and Griffon.  Melburn was predeceased by his parents Fred and Jennie Watson of Lansdowne and all his dear sisters Eva, Hilda, Hazel, Loretta, Winnie Doris, Freeda and Genevieve, Jewels here on Earth God Bless them in Heaven. He will be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

In keeping with Melburn’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family graveside celebration will be held.  For those who wish donations in Melburn’s memory may be made to the Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre.
