Obituary of Ethel Catherine Workman

WORKMAN, Ethel Catherine (nee Scrutton)

January 4, 1918 – July 11, 2020

Passed away peacefully at Arbour Heights Long Term Care Home on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at the age of 102.  Beloved wife of the late Bill Workman (2014).  Loving mother of the late Sharon Marshall (P.J.), Linda McAlpine (Larry), and Blaine Workman (Audrey).  Adoring grandmother of Cathy, Michael, Andrew, Alexander, Alyson and Laura and great-grandmother of Kayla, Victoria, Joshua, Jasper and William.  Ethel was predeceased by her four sisters and six brothers.  The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kennedy, RPN Sue and the professional and dedicated staff at Arbour Heights for everything they have done for Ethel over the last 10 years.

In keeping with Ethel’s wishes cremation has taken place.  A private family inurnment will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery at a later date.  For those who wish donations in Ethel’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
