Mary Lynn and I met at KCVI when I was a minor niner and she was a senior. She graduated and I never saw her again until she became my daughter's home room teacher in Grade 7 at ASCVI Intermediate School in Peterborough. They hit it off immediately and why not. Mary Lynn wanted to present musicals and Alli had been accompanying choirs since she was 9. At a teacher-parent meeting Mary Lynn and I recognized each other's faces and figured out the connection.
I had heard more than a year ago that Mary Lynn was ill and I am sorry that the world has lost another caring soul.
Lynda McCormick Neck.

Dear John
I was saddened to read of Mary Lynn's death today. I remember how kind both of you were to me when I was in Kingston for radiation therapy nearly ten years ago now and how much I enjoyed seeing the beautiful home that the two of you had created. Of course, I also remember your days at Westmount--especially Mary Lynn's vivacity whenever she was in a classroom. I've been a widow for nearly 7 years now and know that you will always cherish memories of the very special person with whom you shared so many happy years.
My thoughts are with you and your family. Mary Snack

Dear John, Jenn, Laura and David, and everyone in the family,
We are so very sorry. Mary Lynn gave us all so many gifts - grace, serenity and many more - and we will miss her very much. We feel so blessed to have had her as a friend and to have been with her on her final day here. At times like this, we often take comfort from Rabindranath Tagore's quote: "Death is not extinguishing the light; it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come". For Mary Lynn, the dawn has come. Sending you all much love, hugs and prayers& Barb & Barry
