Obituary of Iva Bellringer

IVA BELLRINGER

(1932-2020)

Iva passed away peacefully at KGH on Friday May 22, 2020 at the age of 88 surrounded by loved ones.  Devoted and loving wife of the late Tom Bellringer and more recently the late Clifford Ballantyne.  Cherished mother of David (Sandra) and Grandmother of Rachel (Charles), Lauren (Shane) and Kelsey (Chris).  GG will be sadly missed by great-granddaughters Tessa and Elle.  Mourned by stepchildren Heather, Cliff (Sharon) and Grandchildren Emily (Trevor) and Sarah (Jordan).  Daughter of the late Allan and Irene Anderson of Lombardy, ON. Predeceased by siblings Stuart, Roy, Rita, Floy and Larry.  Also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends, and especially her “lunch friends.”

Iva was a dedicated and passionate teacher for 35 years. Primarily she taught grade 3 and years later, home schooled sick children.

Special thanks for the excellent care Iva received in her final years from Conservatory Pond, KGH and Providence Care Hospital.  Donations can be made in her name to a charity of your choice.  A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
