Obituary of Gurjeet Singh Ahluwalia

Gurjeet Ahluwalia passed away on Thursday Feb 16, 2023, at the age of 84 in Rideaucrest nursing home in Kingston Ontario, surrounded by his loving wife Lynn Ahluwalia and the amazing staff. Born on Nov 20, 1938 in India, he came to Canada in 1969 with only a few dollars in his pocket and settled in nicely. He worked in the Nickle mined in Sudbury, Ontario as a blaster for 30yrs and retired in 1996.

He leaves us with many memories; 2 stepdaughters Lisa McCoy (Gary) in Australia and Cindy Dixon (Will) in Kingston Ontario, step grandparent to Mitchell Dixon and Autumn Free and brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his stepson David Dixon in 2008. No funeral arrangements are at this time. We are going to be having a celebration of life in the up-coming months. Donations can be made to a charity of choice.
