Robin Eileen Hughes Chabot

On December 9, 2022 at 5:19am, the highly beloved Robin Eileen Hughes Chabot
passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital after a 3 year-long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her husband and 2 youngest children.
 

Born March 8, 1961 in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. Hughes and Ann Paciga Hughes.

Robin had a big heart and loved to help people, which is why she became a nurse in her hometown of Wilkes-Barre, until a workplace injury forced her into early retirement. Here in Canada, she volunteered for the Veterans Voices of Canada Flags of Remembrance, and served as a blocker during the Kingston Ride for Dads events. She also donated many pieces of her micro macrame jewelry to many charitable causes.

Her brother John R. Hughes and sister Karen Fritzges preceded her in death,
respectively in 2020 and 2022.

Robin will be greatly missed by her husband; Daniel (Chab) Chabot, her 3 children;
Jacent Hughes and his wife Jessica Hughes, Andy and Annie Chabot, her grandchildren; Lukas and October Hughes, her sisters; Carol Carpenter, and Annette Wallace and her husband John Wallace, her mother-in-law; Therese Rioux Chabot (late Alberic), and her siblings-in-law; Sylvain Chabot, Johanne Gelinas and her husband Jacques Gelinas, Mario Chabot and his wife Gene Gadoury Chabot, Dianne Gadoury and her husband Daniel Gadoury, as well as many
nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
