Obituary of Kenneth Richard LaBrash

LaBrash; Kenneth Richard

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the age of 83. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years; Joy LaBrash (nee Burkitt) and his cherished daughters Cindy Chacra and Susan LaBrash. He is the loving grandfather to Sam Chacra and Danny Chacra (Jennifer Munce) and great-grandfather to Mason Chacra. Ken is survived by his brother Raymond LaBrash (Aileen). He is predeceased by his parents George and Marjorie LaBrash (nee Weese) and 3 siblings, Harry LaBrash,  Wayne LaBrash and Diane Dalpee.

Ken was a devoted and valued employee of Dupont for 37 years until his retirement in 1998. Ken spent his life devoted to his family, a selfless and caring man who touched the lives of many.  A mentor for his daughters and grandsons, truly one of a kind who helped everyone who needed it.  Ken will be forever missed but never forgotten. He made a mark during his time on earth with kindness and sense of duty to his family and friends. 

Cremation has been entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life in the Spring of 2023. Memorial donations can be made to the Diabetes Association in Ken’s honour.
