Obituary of Wendell Silver

SILVER, Wendell Holmes

1931 – 2022

Wendell passed away suddenly with his family by his side at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, KGH, on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the age of 91.  Wendell was predeceased by his loving wife Glenda (nee Smith). Dear father of Joanne Baker (Jack) and Suzanne Silver (Chris Sleeth). Proud grandfather of Dawn (Brett), Erica (Mark), Brandon (Nicole)  and Becky (Charlie) and great-grandfather of Zack, Addy, Josh and Maci.  Brother of Beatrice Joynt and the late Ronnie, Kenny and Harry. A heart felt thank you is expressed to the staff in the ER Department at KGH, especially to Dr. Ken Collins and nurse Shelby for your kindness and compassion given to Wendell and his family.

In keeping with Wendell’s wishes a graveside ceremony will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea, all are welcome. Reverend Heather McClurg-Murphy to officiate. For those who wish, donations in Wendell’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
