Obituary of Douglas James Latimer

 

Passed peacefully on December 2 at the age of 91. Doug will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 50 years Marjorie (nee Shillington), brother-in-law to Glena Lewers, dear uncle to James (Hailey), Donald (Cindy), Daniel (Joanne), William (Debbie) and David. He will also be missed by several great nieces and nephews and two great great nephews. Predeceased by his parents Aloysius and Mary (Hollingsworth), brother Wayne and brother-in-law Gary Lewers. Doug was a teller at Imperial bank, an accountant at Heild Brothers and Ongwanada Hospital, finally retiring as a teacher at K.C.V.I. the family is grateful to the staff at Trillium Ridge for their compassion and Care.

 

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home on Thursday December 8, 2022 at 11:30 am with a hour of visiting prior. A reception will be held in the Reception Centre of the James Reid Funeral Home following the service. A burial will then take place at Harrowsmith Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
