Obituary of Corinne Beverly Ronan
Corinne Beverly Ronan
July 16, 1929- Sept 1, 2022
Peacefully, at Providence Transitional Care Centre in Kingston, Ontario, under the watchful eye and loving care of Dr Williams , charge nurse, Jessica Almeida and their team. Corinne was in her 93rd year.
Corinne was a devoted wife to James Michael Ronan ( 02/11/1927 to 04/07/2012). She was a loving mom to Lynn (Ross), Joanne (John), Douglas (Margaret), Peter (Lisa) and Patrick (Brenda). She leaves behind 11 amazing grandchildren ( Ross, Lauren, Tim, Becky, Sydney, Emma, Katie, Maddie, Olivia, Stephen, Amanda) and five great grandchildren (Chloe, Rhett, Harper, Maggie and Calvin). She cherished her moments with them and the stories of their accomplishments.
Corinne was the quintessential homemaker, whose pie crust was legendary. Her sparkling blue eyes and wiry sense of humour are clearly evident in her descendants. No one could match her knowledge of professional hockey players who came from Kingston or her ability to keep a spotless home.
When she and Jim were in better health, they delighted in visiting the kids and grandkids in Ontario, western Canada and the US and celebrating countless weddings and birthdays. She loved Joanne and John’s cottage on Norway Lake.
Corinne will have a wonderful, heavenly reunion with her mom and dad, Dorothy and Andy Bennett, her husband, James Ronan, her brother, Douglas Bennett, her nephew, Dougie Bennett and her best friend, Doreen Martin.
Rest In Peace mom.
We will honour the memories of your rich and abundant life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
A private family service and celebration of Corinne’s life is planned for the fall.
