Obituary of Jennie May Olner

Jennie May Olner (nee Baker), born March 22, 1934.  Beloved wife and best friend of R. Allan Olner.  Loving mother of the late Debby Hay (Cam Hay) and Chris Olner (Janet Olner).  Doting grandmother of Allan Olner (Nancy Snider).  Dear great-grandmother of Hailey, Zoey, Colton and Miles.  Sister of Lillian Baker.  Predeceased by parents Edwin and Gwendolion, brothers Leo and Clinton, and sister Eveline.

Jennie was one of the most loving, caring, and selfless people you could possibly meet.  Jennie loved to travel, had a passion for food, was a master gardener, and a fantastic musician.  She touched the lives of countless people along her way, all of them for the better.

After a long illness, Jennie passed away peacefully on July 4, 2022, at Kingston General Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 2:00 – 5:00pm in the Celebration Center at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston). Please enter from the rear parking lot entrance. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to UHKF or the charity of your choice.
