Frances Elizabeth “Betty” Bernard (Nee Bates)
(1921-2020)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Elizabeth Bernard better known as Betty on April 29th of 2020, at the Trillium Care Retirement Residence, just shy of her 99th birthday . Frances was a long time member of the 560 Legion and someone who loved to dance, play cards or bingo.
She will be reunited again with the love of her life her late husband Freddie. Frances was very proud of her 10 children, Geraldine (David), Anne (Mike), George (Tuula), Marion , James (Cathy), Lynn (Joe), Donnely (Marilyn), Joan (Terry), Keith (Deceased), and Donna (Steve). She will be remembered lovingly by her 25 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Cremation has been looked after by the James Reid Funeral Home, Crematorium, and Reception Center with a service to be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
