Obituary of Vera E. BARNHART-FAWCETT

BARNHART-FAWCETT, Vera E. Peacefully, in her sleep at Providence Manor, on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the age of 79. Vera (nee Bilow), is predeceased by her parents, George and Mildred (nee Lyons) Bilow, former husband Dixson Andrew "Pete" Barnhart, and brothers Earl, Jim and John Bilow. Dear mother of Clifford Dixson Barnhart (Linda) of Niagara Falls and the late David Pearson Barnhart. Loving grandmother of Jennifer (Peter), Dixson (Carrie), Susan (Mike), Daryl (Robyn), Grace (Shaun), Joel, and Anna (Tariq) and great grandmother of four. Survived by brother, Wilfred (Lorna) and sisters, Marie and Diane, as well as many nieces and nephews. In accordance with Vera's wishes, cremation is in the care of James Reid Crematorium. A funeral ceremony will be held in the Chapel of the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Monday, May 16 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am until 10:50 am, and during a reception that will follow the service. Inurnment at St. Mary's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Kingston, or U.H.K.F. (Providence Manor), in memory of Vera.
