I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family and friends.
Irene was a lovely and kind godly women who cared and served the lord.
You are home know with you father god and that is a blessing.
You will be missed.

We miss you Mommie,
One of my favourite memories, She was given a great sense of humour.
Mommie remarked she would like a bear, so for Christmas. That year she was surprised Santa left her one.. Her heart was full and her laughter filled the room.

Irene was one of our favourite people. She had a servants heart, and contributed much to our Church fellowship. Here she is, with some others, at Fort Henry to help us celebrate our fiftieth anniversary. Because she believed in Jesus and called upon his name for salvation - absent from the body and present with the Lord. What a promise! Anita & Paul

Irene was my dear friend. She was my Fish & Chip Buddy. One could never count the number of teas, coffees, and meals she provided with a loving heart to the many folks who gathered at the Salvation Army. She was always eager to use her gift of hospitality and to teach others how to make soups and scones and share her skills. I will miss you dearly Irene. Tom, Jim, Stan and Jean Guy will all enjoy your coffee when you serve them in Heaven :)
