Dingwall, Roderick William M.D.C.M., MSc. (Pharm), FRCP(C) died peacefully May 4, 2016, at Providence Manor, Kingston, in his 97th year. Predeceased (2012) by his beloved wife of 69 years, Audrey. Cherished father of Judy (Ron) Casselman of St. Catharines, John (Bobette) Dingwall of Ottawa, and Mary Jo (Chris Conway) Dingwall of Kingston. Dearest Poppa to Mark (Lori) Casselman of Whitby, Sarah (Josh Norton) Casselman of Toronto, Garth (Elaine Dufoe) Dingwall of Toronto, Emily (Andrew) Gonis of Ottawa, Molly Dingwall of Toronto, Jordan (Paulina Karathanasopoulos) Bell of Toronto and Rachel (Ian Claes) Bell of London. Loving great-grandfather of Abigail and Bennett Casselman of Whitby and Finn Norton of Toronto. Uncle to Shirley Hornbeck of Kingston, Nancy Hornbeck of Perth, Michael (Jean) Dingwall of Hamilton, Mary Ann (David) Murray of Ancaster and Ross (Melinda) Dingwall of Smithers, BC. Predeceased by his parents Myrtle and Malcolm and brothers James and Malcolm. Rod graduated from Queen's University School of Medicine in 1943. As a WW ll veteran he served as a medical officer in the 4th Armoured Division. He was a dedicated and compassionate physician in Kingston for 40 years.
