Obituary of Shirley Clarabelle Gillett

Gillett, Shirley Clarabelle; passed away peacefully on October 5, 2021 at Kingston Health Sciences Centre in her 95th year. She was predeceased by her cherished husband of over 50 years, Stanley Gillett, her daughter Laurene Smith (Leslie) and her granddaughter Melissa Gillett. Dear mother to James “Jim” Gillett (Noreen), Steven Gillett (Lana), Gay Labelle (Bob) and Bruce Gillett (Gail). Adoring grandmother to Kendrick Gillett, Susan Whitehead, Lindsay Gillett, Brendan Gillett, Lydia Seaby, Andrea Labelle, Gillianne Mundell, Matthew Smith, Jeffrey Smith and Laura Morgan and 11 great-grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home, Kingston. A private family service will be held at St. Andrews by the Lake United Church. Memorial donations in Shirley’s honour can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
