Bonnie Ferguson

Obituary of Bonnie Mae Ferguson

Bonnie Mae Ferguson (Moss), 75, passed away peacefully with family by her side at The Ottawa Hospital on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

A spark, a lady, a bright light, and a one-of-a-kind eccentric, Bonnie had a way of connecting easily with those around her. Accepting of all, family and friends will forever remember and miss her warmth, quick wit, sense of humor, openness, intelligence, spirit, and perseverance.

Bonnie is survived by her loving spouse of 40 years (Brian Clements); and her four children – Bryan Moss (Natalie), Corina Ferguson (Neil), Katherine Moss (Scott) and Crystal Moss (Rob); three stepchildren – Cathy Clements, Amy Clements (Marty) and Allen Clements; nine grandchildren – Janevera, Christopher, Chad, Cassandra, Brittany (Justin), Jayce, Parish, Eliza, and Jude; six step-grandchildren – Serra, Amara, Mitchel, Kelsey, Natalia and River; and three great-grandchildren – Zara, Zeke, and Jane.

To say Bonnie was an avid animal lover would be an understatement. Her life was always enriched by a plethora of pets, especially her many beloved Shih Tzus – her constant companions until the very end. A collection of cats, birds, iguanas, fish, and even a pet raccoon found a home with Bonnie over the years as well.

Before retirement, Bonnie enjoyed her career as a real estate agent – so much so that she took the course twice, acing it both times. Clients and colleagues will remember Bonnie for her gregarious personality, charm, style, and tenacity.
