Obituary of James Arthur Massey

Massey, James Arthur

1944-2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Arthur Massey at the age of 77 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH).

Jim always had a story and a smile. He will be remembered by anyone who knew him for his love of country music, particularly Hank Snow and Hank Williams Sr. (Who by the way he sounded just like) and we doubt there is a Clint Eastwood movie he hasn't seen a thousand times.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Theresa, sons Jamie (Trina) and Jeff, stepchildren Todd (Barb), Scott (Trudy), Shelley and Lisa, brother Bill (Keitha), sister Joanne (Tom) and brother in-law Dave.

He is predeceased by his parents James Sr. and Marjorie, daughter Barbara, sister Mary and her husband Bob and sister Louise.

Jim will be dearly missed by all of us as well as his many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In keeping with James wishes, cremation has taken place with a private graveside service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, we would like any donations to go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
