Starke Sr., Gijs (Bert)
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gijs (Bert) Starke in his 74th year. Born January 16, 1948 in Eibergen and passed August 7, 2021 in Harrowsmith.
Best friend and loving husband of Willy. Loving dad of Meta (Pat), Ron, Gijsbert (Tanyelle). Incredible Opa to Dylan, Conor, Tyleste, Sylas and Aylista.
Predeceased by his parents, Aleida and Reint Starke, brother Jan Starke and Ans Oosterhof Starke., Oebele Oosterhof, in laws Ria (Anton), Annie (predeceased) (Henk) and Lies. Survived by sister in law Will Starke, dear brother-in-law to Hennie (Marietje), Gerda (Gerard), Truus, Gerard (Marianne), (Dinnie) Hennie, (Marga) Martin.
Owner and operator of Starke's convenience. Bert was a man of the highest integrity and will be dearly missed by his family, friends and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Cremation has taken place, with celebration of Bert’s life to follow.

There will be a visitation held at the James Reid Funeral Home on Sunday August 29th, 2021 from 3-5pm. IS CANCELLED!!
