Obituary of Christine Thompson
Thompson, G. Christine – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of G. Christine Thompson in her 95th year. Mum was blessed to be surrounded by her daughter Lynn and her son in law Paul in her final hours. Mum also leaves behind her daughter Karen (Raymond) and her four grandchildren, Bryan, Krista (Drew), Terry (Victoria) and Kylie (Devon).
Despite the deeply felt loss of her beloved husband, Hazen, in 2019, mum never lost her enjoyment of life. They were married for 63 years.
Mum loved to travel and was an avid China painter which brought a lovely group of new friends, but never forgetting her friends from her early days.
A special thanks to Dr. Mark Dockrill, Connie, Freda and Deborah for their compassionate care as well as Marilyn Easter for her devotion.
A private family service was held due to COVID restrictions.
Mum, you will forever live on in our hearts.
