Peacefully in her sleep on the day of her 87th birthday, at the Trillium Retirement Centre in Kingston. Ingeborg was predeceased by her husband, William Lorne Kennedy in January of 1995 and by her parents, Max and Rosina Hauptmann. She leaves behind her loving children, William John Kennedy (Michelle) of King City, Carolyn Anne Butler (Bob) of Kingston, Christine Rose Mason (Gary) of Guelph and Stephen Lorne Kennedy (Kerri) of Crystal City, MB. She will be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Ingeborg will be remembered as a long-time member of the Salvation Army, including her dedicated involvement with the League of Mercy and pianist at the Kingston Citadel. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Monday, April 18, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 19 at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army, Kingston Citadel in Mrs. Kennedy's memory. "Our Mom and Grandma will be dearly missed"
