Obituary of Eileen RUSSELL

RUSSELL, E. Eileen (nee Jamieson) - Ret d RN (KGH) - WWII Veteran - On Saturday, April 9, 2016, Eileen passed away at home in her 100th year. Cherished wife of the late Jack Gamble and the late Gordon Russell. Beloved mother of Elizabeth Clarke (the late Rick) and Robin Russell (Jen Tait). Proud grandma of Alex, Jack and Will Clarke, Emma and Lea Russell and great-grandma of Liam Clarke. Dear sister of Beryl Riddell and the late Lionel and Boyd Jamieson. She was the much loved aunt to Barbara MacDougall, Lois Harwood, Paul Riddell, Heather Riddell, Terry Riddell, Nancy Adams, and the late Carol Jamieson. "Jamie" will be greatly missed by her devoted caregivers. Visitation will be held at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Wednesday, April 13 from 12:00pm to 1:45pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 2:00pm. Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery. Reception to follow in the James Reid Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions in Eileen s memory may be made to UHKF (KGH) or St. Andrew s by the Lake United Church.
