Obituary of Suzanne ANDREWS
ANDREWS, Margaret Suzanne -
1948 2016 -
Margaret Suzanne Andrews (nee Payne) passed peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2016 after a short bout of cancer. Suzanne was predeceased by her parents Mostyn (Lefty) and Margurite (Pinky Murray) Payne. She is survived by her sister Joyce (Paul) Kelly, her loving husband of 47 years, Bill, sons David (Tabatha), James (Ria) and Ian (Melanie) and grandchildren Sequoia, Harper, Matthew and Nicholas. Suzanne was born in Kingston on 3 August 1948, attended Notre Dame Academy and moved away upon marriage in 1969 to travel the world. She came back to live in Kingston from Almonte in 1987, attended Queen s University (Drama) and for the last 19 years has been a resident of Buck Lake. She was active in theatre wherever she lived, both as an actor and a director. Most of all, she loved the peace, quiet and nature of country life, and living in the South of France. She will be sorely missed, not only by her immediate family, but her extended families and indeed all who were fortunate enough to get to know or even meet her (including all the creatures around her house). She was truly a beautiful, loving person. The family wishes to sincerely thank the people who helped us at the Community Care Access Centre, St. Elizabeth and Dr. Debbie Briggs at Seeley s Bay Medical, who were of so much assistance to us through this difficult time. Suzanne 's family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Thursday, April 14 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Her Life will be held from 10 am -12 pm on Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Reception Centre of the James Reid Funeral Home (please use rear parking lot entrance), with words of remembrance at 10:30 am. Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to the Westport Food Bank or the Children s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in Ottawa.
