Obituary of Audrey COBDEN

COBDEN, Audrey "Bobbie" Died in hospital, Peterborough, ON, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Wife of much beloved Harry, who predeceased her in 1997. Step-mother of David (Lorraine), Michael (Jane), Grandmother of Marsh (Kevin), Richard (Cathy), Derick (Angela), Josh (Jennifer), Joey, Daisy/Zhi Yu, Go Go of seven great -grandchildren, Sister of Christopher (Maria), Jane Matthews and Aunt of numerous nieces and nephews in South Africa. Cremation has taken place. Audrey's cremated remains will be laid to rest beside Harry at Cataraqui Cemetery during a ceremony in June. "To the many friends, colleagues, neighbours and acquaintances who have touched me over the last 30 plus years in Canada, I say farewell and thank you for that touch: L'Chaim - to Life; Hamba Khale - Go Well". In the words of Dylan Thomas: "Do not go gentle into that good night. Old age should burn and rave at close of day. Rage, rage against the dying of the light".
