Peacefully, on March 10th, 2019, at Garden Terrace Long term Care in Kanata, Mabel J. Martyn in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Albert S. (Ab) Martyn. Loving mother of Gayle (Dave Lattimore) of Ottawa, Marta (Steve Tebworth) of Kingston and David Bruce Martyn of Ottawa. Adoring grandmother of Michelle (Martin McKay) of Ottawa, Tim Lattimore (Stefanie) of Vancouver, Dawn (Matt Rioux) of Napanee and Becky (Dave Baird) of Kingston. Cherished great-grandmother (Grammie) of Ewan Gough, Georgia-Dawn Bedard, Austin Esford, Shyanne Esford, Kolbi Baird, Dannika Baird, Tenley McKay and Duncan McKay. Also survived by her sister Hope (Al Holdaway) of Port Hope. Predeseased by her parents Fred and Gilberta Thompson and her sister Betty (the late John Holman).

Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on March 13th, 2019 and from 1-1:50pm on March 14th, 2019 followed by the funeral service at James Reid at 2pm.
