Marie passed away at Rideaucrest on Wednesday, February 13th at the age of ninety-five. She was the beloved mother of Sandra McBride, Donna Stoness ( Ian Wilson) and David Young ( Lena). Grandmother of Catrina (Brian), Colin (Rachel), Scott (Julie), Ryan (Lindsay) and great-grandmother of five. She is survived by her brother Ken and sister Helen and was predeceased by five brothers.

    Marie was a valued employee of Zellers Downtown Kingston for over thirty years.

Heartfelt thanks to all the nurses, personal support workers, and other employees of Rideaucrest who took such wonderful care of her for the last four years.

    Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Jmes Reid Funreal Home, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Sunday, April 28 at 2:00 pm.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 1:50 pm, and during a reception in the James Reid Reception Centre. Donations may be directed to Gardenwalk Terrace at Rideaucrest, 175 Rideau St., Kingston, K7K 3H6.
