Hendrika (Anne) Reuvers

After a courageous battle with cancer, Hendrika (Anne) Reuvers passed away peacefully on February 6, 2019.  Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Reuvers for 42 years. Dear mother of Sandra Kelderman (Rick) of Napanee, John Reuvers (Cindy) of Westport, Gerald Reuvers (Lorraine) of Portland and Steven Reuvers (Lucie) of Lorette Manitoba.  She will be greatly missed and forever known as “Grandma R” by her grandchildren, Kristen, Lyndsay, Calvin Hayley and Kelsey; Casie and Rebecca; Allyssa, Keisha, Jordan and Dominic; and her great grandson Sawyer.  Dear sister of Jean (Wiebe) Bylsma; Joan (Dave) MacKenzie; Harry (Catherine) Bierman; John (Wendi) Bierman; Rita (Peter) Beerda; Gary (Helen) Bierman.  Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews as well as by her church family at Westside Fellowship and second family at the Mission Thrift Store where she developed many lasting friendships.  The family would like to send a special thank you to all staff at Providence Care Hospital, Palliative Care Ward for the tremendous care and compassion that they showed to our mother (grandmother) in her final days.

There will be a visitation held at the James Reid Funeral Home on Sunday February 10, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be at the Westside Fellowship Christian Reformed Church on Monday February 11, 2019 at 11:00 am, with interment at Cataraqui Cemetery to follow.
