1945-2019
Gary passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on January 14, 2019. He was 73 years of age and battled a 2 year battle with dementia. He passed with his loving wife Cheryl of 43 years by his side, holding his hand. Gary is survived by his sons Wayne and Mark and his granddaughter Madison. 
A special thank you is extended to the staff on the BSTU for their compassionate and loving support of Gary and our family.  Also a sincere gratitude to his sister-in-law Judy (Mike) Johannes, and best friend Dr. Mike Henderson for their tremendous support over the past few years.
In keeping with Gary's wishes, there will be no services for the public. The cremation has been entrusted to the James Reid Crematorium followed by a private interment at a later date. 
Donations would be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Society of Kingston or the Kingston Humane Society.
He was a wonderful kind man and will be greatly missed by many.
