Obituary of Sherry Leigh Knight

KNIGHT, Sherry Leigh (nee Bates)

August 9, 1963 – March 24, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Wife, Mom, Nanny, Sister, Aunt and friend, Sherry Knight, in her 55th year, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Sherry leaves behind her loving husband Gordon, son Adam (Heather), daughter Amanda (Ed) and five beautiful grandchildren; Carlene, Peyton, Hunter, Isabella and Abigail, her siblings Debbie (Tony), Dan (Linda), Kim (Percy) and many nieces and nephews.  Sherry was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Carol Bates and will be sadly missed by her dear friend Jackie as well as her friends at the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront.   A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Bayshore Nurses, especially Tanya Edmunds, for the outstanding care that Sherry received.  In keeping with Sherry’s wishes cremation has taken place.  A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 1-4 pm at the Storrington Lion's Hall (2992 Princess Rd., Inverary).  For those who wish, donations may be made to the U.H.K.F.
