Obituary of Gertrude Stanfied

Stanfield, Gertrude “Trudy” (nee Hume).

Trudy passed away peacefully at Providence Manor on February 26, 2018 at the age of 101. She started life in a small town in New Brunswick, where she married her childhood sweetheart Graeme Campbell. They moved to Montreal and Trudy worked as an office manager for Sherwin Williams. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Arlene and James. Upon the death of her husband Graeme, Trudy retired and moved to Kingston to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Trudy met and married her second husband, the late John Stanfield. Together they enjoyed life and Trudy stayed busy working in the community and playing golf. She was very close with her late daughter Arlene Wall (Norm) and granddaughter Laura Leeman (Mike) and they created many lasting memories together over the years. Trudy is also survived by four great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. If desired donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. She will be sadly missed but not forgotten by those who knew and loved her.
