Obituary of Bessie H. Miller

MILLER, Bessie (nee: Card)

1920-2018

Bessie passed away after a short illness at the Kingston General Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, on Monday, March 5, 2018, three days shy of her 98th birthday.  Bessie is predeceased by her beloved husband Keith Miller.  Loving Mother of Jack Miller (Cathy) and Pam Delyea (Murray).  Adoring Grandma of Amanda Lau (Mike), Shannon Harper (Trevor), Cindy Murphy, and Julie Daly (Kyle) and GG of Catherine, Emily and Joshua Lau, Jemma Harper, Cole Murphy, Samantha and Jessica Daly.  Sadly missed by her niece Helen Aiken as well as several nieces, nephews and their families.  A heartfelt thank you is extended to the SMILE Program Staff, the PSW’s from the VON and the staff at KGH, Connell 9, including Dr. Robert Clayden, for the extraordinary care that Bessie received.   Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston.  Friends will be received on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 10:30am until time of service in the chapel at 12:00pm.  Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.  For those who wish donations in Bessie’s memory may be made to the SMILE program of the VON, the Salvation Army  or to the charity of your choice.
