Kenneth Duane Vrooman, passed away peacefully at his home in Kingston on February 21, 2018 in his 67^th year after a long battle with cancer.

Ken was a professional firefighter with the City of Kingston for over 30 years.

He is survived by his two sons Joshua of Kingston, Sean and daughter-in-law Sarah of Toronto.  He was pre-deceased by his mother and father, Maydene (nee Walker) and Clarence, brothers Edward and Peter.

He is also survived by his two brother’s sons, Stephen, Robert, Scott, Jason and Blair.

The funeral service will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home, on Thursday March 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.  Followed by private interment at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
