With heavy hearts we sadly announce the passing of Elroy Poffley on Monday, January 29, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Michael Joseph Poffley. Loving mother of Chris (Lyn) and Kim (Dave). Proud and loving grandma of Colin McFie and Nicole Poffley. Affectionately known as Grandma to many. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Franklin Cota and Laura O'Gorman and by siblings Nancy Cumpson, Tom Cota, Audrey Whitbread, Hazel Graham, Douglas Cota and Jackie Cota. Friends and family will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Friday, February 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, February 10 from 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. funeral service to follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or the Kingston Humane Society.
