Obituary of Ronald Kenneth Delph

DELPH, Ronald Kenneth

Peacefully passed away at Arbour Heights, surrounded by the love of his family, on January 13, 2018, in his 84th year.  Ron, beloved husband of Shirley and the late Alberta.  Cherished Father of Nancy Hurt (Mike) and Kevin Delph (Kathi).  Proud Poppa of Zendra Bell (Matthew), Lauren Rennie (Ian), Brittany Hunt (Minseok) and Hilary Kelly (David) and Grandpa of Aaron, Andrew and Melissa-Ann Delph and Great-grandpa of Zachary and Quinten Bell and Sarah and Maci Kelly.  Ron was predeceased by his brother Arthur Delph and will be missed by his brother George Delph and sister Barbara Billings.  Ron was a retired Navy Veteran and a member of the Naval Veteran’s Association.  A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff and volunteers at Arbour Heights for the wonderful care that Ron received.  Family and friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 6-8 pm and on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 10-10:45am, followed by a service celebrating Ron’s life at 11:00 am.  Interment Cataraqui Cemetery.  For those who wish donations may be made to the Princess Street United Church or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
