Suddenly at home on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Beloved husband and best friend to Debbie Lakins-Ilan. Dear son of Ruth and the late Wesley Ilan. Brian will missed by his brother Clarke, sister Brenda Leeman (Edward). Brother-in-law of Sharon and Bernie Murphy, uncle of Kelly Murphy (Scott Wagar), great uncle to Kaden, Kale and Emme. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 1:30 at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. with friends being received from 12:30 - 1:20 p.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in Brian's name to Kingston Humane Society or Perth Road United Church would be appreciated.
