Don passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on December 29, 2017, at the age of 74. He will be missed dearly by his wife Linda (nee Cameron) of 49 years. Don leaves behind his three daughters Wenda (Duncan Toswell), Alicia and Julia Walker (Terry). Remembered by his grandchildren Cameron, Emily, Fiona and Sloane. Survived by his brother Robert (Joanne) of Calgary. Don will be missed by his niece, cousins, uncles, aunt and close friends. Predeceased by his parents George and Margaret (nee Jackson).

A private service will be held for Don at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to the James Reid Funeral Home. The Weiss Family would like to thank the staff at KHSC and Carveth Care Centre for their support with Don. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the UHKF or Gibson Family Health Care Charitable Foundation.
