Tom died the way he lived, peacefully, at Rideaucrest on Saturday, December 23, 2017.  Thomas Elliott, age 90, beloved husband of the late Elsie (nee Katerenchuk).  Loving father of Kent (Cathy), Stephen (Winona), Debbie (Joe), Terry (Jayne), Peter, and Susie.  Survived by his adoring 21 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by his parents James and Astrid Elliott, as well as his brother Bobby Elliott (the late Doris). He is survived by his sister Lois Vaes (Abbie), brother Ricky Elliott (Terri) and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom's family extends sincere gratitude to his caregivers and the volunteers at Rideaucrest for the exemplary care and compassion provided to him.  Arrangements entrusted to the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard.  No visitation. The Elliott family will gather privately at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens for a graveside ceremony.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Rideaucrest in memory of Tom.
