Wagar, Reed Alvin

1928-2017

Reed passed away peacefully at Extendicare Kingston on Tuesday December 19, 2017. Born on October 20, 1928 to parents Arthur and Helen Wagar. Beloved husband of the late June Wagar. Reed was the father to Sharon, James and Thomas. He was the grandfather to Craig, Alecia, Michelle (Mike), Lisa (Joey), Michael (Shiann) and Chantal. Reed will be missed by his 3 great-grandchildren Ciara, Jacob and Sophia. He is survived by his sister June (Walter) Hegadorn.

The family of Reed will receive friends at 10am on Wednesday December 27, 2017 until 10:50am. A service will be held in the James Reid Funeral Home Chapel at 11am followed by the burial at Harrowsmith Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to come back to the funeral home for a reception.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kingston Cancer Clinic or Canadian National Institution for the Blind.

Reed touched the lives of many and will be missed by all who knew him.
