Obituary of Patricia Loretta Watson
Watson, Patricia (nee- Briceland)
March 17, 1938 – December 17, 2017
Patricia passed away in her sleep peacefully the morning of December 17, 2017. She graduated from the Hotel Dieu Hospital in 1959 as a RN and nursed in many hospitals around the World, Kingston, Cold Lake, Alta, Zwiebruken, Germany, Toronto, Lancaster, California and served as a Public Health Nurse for North Eastern Alberta. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Watson, her five children, Pamela Richards, Jamie Watson, Heidi Andrews, Kristoffer Watson & Patrick Watson. Patricia is predeceased by her parents Eugene and Dorothy Briceland and sister Margaret MacKenzie. Her brother and sister are still living in Kingston Ontario, Donnie Briceland and Maureen McRae. She was a phenomenal person and will be sorely missed. Patricia leaves behind her fourteen grandchildren, nieces/nephews and many friends. Patricia’s family will received friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 6-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Apostle Parish, 88 Patrick Street, Kingston on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 11:00am. Rite of Committal at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A reception celebrating Patricia’s life will follow at the James Reid Funeral Home Reception and Celebration Centre. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation.
