VEENENDAAL, Hermanus
Peacefully in his sleep, on Saturday, December 16, 2017, in his 95th year. Herman was born, June 13, 1923 in Schijndel, Netherland. He dearly loved and missed his wife Jacoba (Coba) of 64 years who passed from this life in 2014. While Herman was quiet and understated, he was a man of determination and tenacity; respected for his wisdom and gentle guidance. He took pleasure watching over his growing family of 7 children, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and four more expected soon. Fondly remembered by his children; Jacoba (Coby) Sherstone (David), the late Adriana Stenson (the late Tom), Hermania Guité (Ron), Mary Ann Murray (Paul), Nicholas (Nico) Veenendaal (Martha), Wilhelmus (Willie) Veenendaal (Debbie) and Diana Costa (Rich). Beloved Opa to Andria (Matthew), Andrew (Carolyn), Ian, Tyler (Stacey), Christopher (Carmen), Aric (Sarah), Kristin (Adam), Sasha (Adam), Michael, Johanna (Kendra), Raymond, Sonja (Tony) and Sarah (Adrian) and precious great-grandchildren, Samuel, Lillian, Owen, Hannah, Emilee, Caleb, Avery, Emmett, Addison, Odinn, Xaviour, Adra and Aviana. Family and friends will be welcomed at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 1-3 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul’s the Apostle Catholic Church, 1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 10:00 am. Rite of Committal with Prayers at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to UHKF (Providence Manor) in Mr. Veenendaal’s memory.
