Obituary of Edward Albert Hearn

HEARN, Edward Albert (Ed)
Quietly at his home in Camden East surrounded by the love of family, on Saturday, December 9, 2017. Ed Hearn, in his 84th year, beloved husband of Sylvia Grace (nee Packer) for 61 years. Loving father of Al Hearn (Lory) of Collingwood and Ian Hearn (Anne-Kristine) of Kingston.  Affectionately known as Grandpa to Bryan, Joanna, Alexander and Eric. Survived by brother Jim Hearn (Edith) of Kingston.  Predeceased by sisters Peggy and Verda and brother Dick.  Also remembered by his nieces and nephews, as well as his spiritual family at Edith Rankin.  Cremation in the care of James Reid Crematorium.  The family will receive friends at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard on Wednesday, December 13 between the hours of 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm and at EDITH RANKIN MEMORIAL UNITED CHURCH, 4080 Bath Road, on Thursday, December 14 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm.  A reception will follow in the church hall.  The family will gather privately at Cataraqui Cemetery for inurnment at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Edith Rankin Memorial United Church (Kitchen Renovations in Memo portion of cheque, please), in memory of Ed.
