MCLEAN, Ronald Charles
Retired, long-time employee of Dupont Canada
Peacefully in his home with dignity, with his loving wife of 29 years, Shirley at his side.  Ron McLean, in his 88th year, survived by his children, Brian (Ann), Eric (Coleen), Shelly (Stephen), Greg (Shelley) and Scott, and step-children, Andy (Diane), Patti (Al) and Paula (Art).  Also survived by his grandchildren, as well as sisters, Donalda, Ila and Glenna (Larry), and many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by six sisters.  Ron was an enthusiastic volunteer at Community Spirit Bingo, an avid card player and enjoyed travel and his family.  Family and friends will be received at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Friday, December 8 from 10:00am until 10:50 am.  with the funeral service at 11:00am.  Inurnment will follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.  All are welcome to a reception at Royal Canadian Legion 560 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to  U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario) or Heart and Stroke Foundation, in Mr. McLean's memory.
