Obituary of Pearl Thurlby

THURLBY, Pearl
Peacefully at the Helen Henderson Care Centre on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in her 105th year.  Pearl (nee Bridgen), was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Thurlby (1970), daughters, Marion Connell and Joyce Hawkins, grandson Tom Hawkins, as well as all her siblings.  She is survived by hers sons, Tom Thurlby (Pat) and Bob Thurlby (Liz), eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.  Funeral service in the Chapel of the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Wednesday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m.  Pearl's family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m.  Interment will follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.  As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Partners in Mission Food Bank.
