Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Motsch (Bratt)

MOTSCH, (BRATT), Lisa (Elizabeth) Anne.
November 1, 1970 - November 1, 2017.
Lisa passed away peacefully, on her 47th birthday, at Providence Care Hospital Palliative Care Unit, with her loving partner and husband of over 20 years, David, by her side. A devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend to so many. Lisa leaves behind her 2 incredible children, Rachael & Logan, and her adoring husband, David.  She is survived, and will be deeply missed, by her mother & father,  Elizabeth & Joseph Motsch, and her 4 siblings, John (Christine), Melissa (Bob), David (Alison) , and Amanda (Devin), as well as her ever-loving and resilient Oma. Lisa showed abundant love to her nieces and nephews, and will be forever be in the hearts of Jewel, Rosie, Charlie, Byanka, Markus, Emmett, Tylar, Chase and Matthew. Lisa fully embraced her relationships with David's family, and will be deeply missed by David's parents, Faye & Norm, and his brother & sister Jeff (Christine), and Jennifer (Geoff).  Always "Motsch Loved" by her LDSB friends and by her entire community of friends, colleagues, aunts, uncles and cousins, she will be profoundly missed by all.  May her spirit of hope and optimism, along with her sparkling eyes & infectious smile, stay in our hearts forever. Finally, the family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the exceptional staff of the Providence Care PCU team and all KGH teams involved with her care over the past 8 years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in Lisa's name, to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (for Providence Care Palliative Care or Rehabilitation Units) or to a charity of your choice.  A Celebration of Life will be planned in the new year for loved ones to gather, reminisce, and enjoy themselves in her memory.
We send Motsch Love to all.
