Obituary of June Ann Townsend

TOWNSEND, June Ann (nee MacLeod)
Peacefully at home on Monday, October 16, 2017.  June was predeceased by her husband Daniel (2002), Sister Jessie (Harold) Grant and parents Alex and Annie MacLeod (Cape Breton Island).  Loved Mother of Daniel (Helen), Patience “Patti” (Steve) McLeod, Darrell (Cathy) and Grandmother of Chad (Meagan), Lucas, Jared, Alex and Wes (Kayla).  Also survived by George (Heather) Townsend, Joan Townsend and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.  Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s by the Lake United Church (1 Redden Street, Kingston) on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 am.  A reception celebrating June’s life will follow the service in the church hall.  For those who wish memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew’s by the Lake United Church or to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.
